YES has teamed up with YACHTGLASS and GLASSFIX MARINE SERVICES to develop a comprehensive Mediterranean support and service operation for all SUPERYACHT glazing in Palma Mallorca. The service will include, warranty work, replacement and repair of damaged glass, upgrading, protection at refit and protection at sea.

YACHTGLASS is the leader in innovative high performance yacht glazing and has pioneered new lightweight sandwich glass constructions in sweeping three dimensional forms out of its North German based operation in Dersum. YACHTGLASS is constantly striving to extend the range of design possibilities, to improve safety, reduce weight and provide sophisticated performance characteristics of colour, fire protection, insulation, privacy, opacity and decoration. They have recently introduced with YES a rapid replacement supply system.

GLASSFIX MARINE SERVICES, based in Zierikzee in Holland,is a specialist in the repair and protection of SUPERYACHT glass. The technology has been refined over many years of successful application and conforms to ISO 614:1989 classification and to standard EN572-2:2004. The service will be provided through YES who can deal with the repair of damaged glass surfaces, the protection of glass during refit and the application of the proprietary ClearShield™ coating to protect glass from atmospheric damage in use and provide much improved visibility. There is also a treatment for the protection of external bright-work.

YES has considerable experience in the fabrication and fitting of sophisticated windscreen, hatch and window panels in Polyacrylic and Polycarbonate and is ideally qualified and situated to extend its service to include glass.
